Never Forget The Fallen

I am honored to have served in the US Army for 10 years as an Airborne Ranger and most recently I was assigned to HHC 2-35 INF Scouts, Schofield Barracks, HI during Operation Iraqi Freedom V.

During my last tour in Iraq, our unit lost 39 soldiers and 10 were from my Scout platoon. They were killed in a helicopter crash near Kirkuk AB on 22 August 2007. Click here to see the Scout Platoon Memorial Page.

They were very well known in our unit and we all took it very hard. I miss my fallen brothers everyday and wish that things had been different. We all understand what this job can bring and unfortunately most of us know the pain of loosing a brother or sister in Arms. We all know too well that our freedom is not free, it has been paid with blood.

As a Mixed Martial Arts & Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu fighter I was inspired to start this company to honor my fallen brothers and to keep their memory alive. How easily most Americans forget those who are fighting to keep their freedoms alive and those who have fallen to protect them. I want to inspire everyone who come into contact with RFG and let them know that we support our Armed Forces despite our own political views and beliefs.

With every single purchase made, 10% is used to give back to our troops in various ways. Right now we are a very small company but as my business grows the donations will increase. I take pride in knowing that I am not just giving to a generic charity or to a name-less group of soldiers, I give back directly to the men and women who serve themselves though a program that I have set up called the Military Sponsorship Program. Any member of the Armed Forces that wants to sign up for sponsorship can and they will be put in a database where I will give back to them with the hopes that my work and effort can improve their way of life… even if just a little. Some of these donations will include but are not limited to sending free Recon Fight Gear clothes and training gear, hold various martial arts competitions and tournaments with cash prizes and even setup raffles for fully paid vacations for their entire family.
